Job summary
Advance Rehabilitation is seeking an Acute Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic-focused team. You will assist in assessing patients, develop and initiate treatment plans, and provide direct care under a Physical Therapist's supervision, documenting progress and outcomes for caregivers and insurers.
The role welcomes new graduates, offers mentorship, and emphasizes standards-based care with opportunities to contribute to comprehensive rehabilitation programs and community service
Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state of Georgia PTA license, CPR certification.
- Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.
- Outgoing and energetic personality.
- New graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
- Ensure patient care by assistants and rehabilitation technicians meets standards.
- Assist in completing plans of care and developing program goals.
- Support implementation of PT treatment programs and essential therapies.
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers under PT guidance.
