Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City is seeking an acute care physical therapist to join our Rehabilitation and Performance team on the main campus. You will evaluate patient condition, determine the appropriate treatment plan, and set rehabilitation goals after physician referral.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be strong clinicians in orthopedic acute care PT.
• Knowledge of adult orthopedic surgeries and post-operative guidelines.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
• New York State licensure is required.

Responsibilities

In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.What you will be doingOverview:HSS Rehabilitation and Performance is a dynamic multidisciplinary team of highly skilled clinicians supported by engaged patient access and rehab technician professionals.We are seeking an acute care physical therapist to join our team at the HSS main campus. Upon referral by a physician, you will evaluate patient condition, determine the appropriate treatment plan and set rehabilitation goals.
