Job summary

Boulder Bone and Joint in Boulder, CO is seeking a full-time PA-C to join a private, boutique orthopedic surgery practice. You will provide clinic, OR, and hospital care, and collaborate closely with the surgeon on patient care pathways.

Candidates must hold NCCPA certification with CO licensure and a current DEA; EHR proficiency is required, with training provided as needed. A team-oriented, compassionate approach is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Private, small/boutique orthopaedic surgery practice in Boulder, CO is seeking a full-time PA-C, where we treat our patients like friends and family.

Duties include:

• Clinic care, OR/surgery, and hospital care, including some call.
• This PA will work directly with the surgeon, as well as in communication with the surgeon (e.g. ortho urgent care).

Requirements:

• NCCPA certification, CO state and DEA active licenses, or the ability to obtain them.
• The ideal fit will be a self-motivated, proactive, and organized team-player, with detail-oriented work ethic, and the ability to multitask efficiently while still providing compassionate patient care.
• Excellent time management skills, proficiency and desire to work independently with supervision, in a small team environment, will be important in achieving a good fit.
• Must be able to learn and use EHR systems - currently using eClinical Works in our office and Epic at the hospital.
• Physician/surgeon will provide necessary training based on PA's needs.
