UPMC Groff Orthopaedics in Pittsburgh is hiring a full-time Professional Staff Nurse, OP for a Monday through Friday daylight schedule at Shadyside. The RN will triage calls, liaise between providers and patients, authorize and educate on procedures, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum six months experience preferred.

• Actively participates in department or practice-specific quality improvement efforts and supports improvement in clinical care.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with physicians, staff, and patients while coordinating care and education.
• Provides teaching to patients and families, including in-office and phone/written communication.
• Ensures patient safety, quality and satisfaction by applying nursing process and effective communication.
