Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System – Medina Hospital is seeking an RN for Orthopaedics in Medina, OH. You will join a 148-bed community hospital and care for post-surgical orthopaedic and spine patients on a 2 East unit, with a rotating day/evening schedule and direct patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, medication administration, discharge planning, and patient education. Requires RN licensure, ADN/BSN, and BLS; one year acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and RN licensed in the state.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum one year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
