Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians Orthopaedics is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join a busy, patient-focused orthopedic team. The role combines outpatient and operative responsibilities, with on-call duties and close supervision by an orthopedic surgeon to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine.
• Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
• Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Combination of outpatient and operative responsibilities for orthopaedic patients, including on-call responsibilities.
• Oversee post-operative care in the outpatient setting, perform minor procedures such as joint injections, complete workups for new consultations, and serve as first assistant in the OR about 2 days/week.
