Job summary

The Certified Athletic Trainer supports Duke Orthopaedics Heritage by providing clinical and administrative support in a multi-disciplinary outpatient setting at 3000 Rogers Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587. You will assist with patient intake, clinical prep, provider support, patient education, care coordination, and clinic flow to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or CAATE accredited program required.
• NATABOC Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, document history, and prepare patients for evaluation by the provider.
• Assist providers with patient care activities and orthopaedic assessments.
• Support clinic flow by monitoring schedules and guiding patients through the visit.
• Review upcoming schedules to identify missing imaging, records, or referrals.
• Assist with in-office procedures, patient education, and post visit instructions.
