Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer for the Duke North Carolina Orthopaedic Clinic in Durham, NC. The ATC will be an integral part of the healthcare team, providing direct and indirect patient care in a busy multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities include clinical and administrative duties, assisting physicians, and ensuring clinic efficiency. Must hold a four-year degree in athletic training, NC licensure, BOC certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training required.
• NC licensure as athletic trainer required; BOC certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, collect histories, document HPI, chart and perform procedures as per physician protocols.
• Assist physicians with patient care and routine clerical tasks in clinic settings.
• Maintain clean exam rooms, stock supplies and ensure safety in the clinical area.
• Assist with post-operative care and DME fitting as directed by clinicians.
• Support clinic leadership and adhere to policies and procedures.
