Job summary

Hillel is seeking an Orthodox Rabbi in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to foster a dynamic Jewish community for students. The ideal candidate will engage with students through teaching, mentorship, and pastoral care, supporting their spiritual growth and community involvement.

This role includes advising student minyanim, creating welcoming Shabbat experiences, and leading programming for community engagement. A BA and Orthodox rabbinic ordination are required, along with a commitment to fostering pluralism within Jewish life.

Responsibilities

  • Advise the Orthodox Student Minyan and provide organizational support.
  • Teach Torah and facilitate group discussions.
  • Host students for Shabbat and holiday meals to cultivate community.
  • Provide mentorship and maintain a visible presence in students' lives.
  • Collaborate with the Hillel team on programming.
