Job summary

Yeshiva University seeks a Beren Rabbinic Intern to serve as a religious educator and mentor on campus. The role involves delivering shiurim, conducting individual meetings, and coordinating Shabbat and holiday programming.

On-campus housing is provided. The intern will work with the Dean of Torah Studies, the Beren Campus Rabbi, and student groups to foster religious growth and community across the Beit Midrash and campus life.

Qualifications

  • A BA or MA in Judaic Studies, Education, or Social Work preferred.
  • Rabbinic ordination or RIETS ordination program (Semikhah).
  • At least two years of professional work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver shiurim and study in Beit Midrash with students.
  • Meet with students one-on-one for mentorship and guidance.
  • Plan Shabbat/holiday programming with campus leadership.
  • Collaborate with campus staff and student committees on religious life initiatives.
  • Reside in an on-campus apartment and participate in regular staff meetings.
