Job summary

Ideal Dental in Addison, IL is hiring an Orthodontic Manager to lead the Specialty Team and ensure excellent patient experience. Reporting to the Specialty Regional Manager, you will supervise front and back-office staff, manage schedules, verify insurance, and present treatment plans.

The role requires orthodontic experience and dental management background, strong communication, and a passion for continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Orthodontics experience.
• Minimum of 1 year dental management experience preferred.
• Experience with treatment plans required.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• Digital practice software experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude.
• Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes and communicate changes to patients and staff.
• Work to maintain full schedules and office schedule flow.
• Collect balances and verify insurance when needed.
• Present accurate patient treatment plans and determine insurance coverage & patient financial responsibility.
• Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed.
• Coordinate patient check-in and check-out.
• Perform all duties relating to supporting the office.
• Oversee schedule of staff/doctors/patients.
• Motivate Orthodontic Team to meet revenue goals.
• Manage Orthodontic front office and back-office staff.
• Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development of Endodontic Team.
• Complete reports as needed in an accurate and timely manner.
• All other duties assigned.
