Job summary

Perfect Teeth in Denver is seeking a skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant dedicated to outstanding patient care. You will support the doctor and hygienists, maintain a smooth chair-side flow, take radiographs, and ensure the patient leaves with a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient.
• Be present and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors with procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts and transcribe notes.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver a great patient experience.
• Partner with doctors and staff to maintain service quality.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and lab tracking.
• Monitor and order dental supplies as directed.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete checklists and daily huddles to ensure smooth flow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Follow safety policies per OSHA and BBP regulations.
• Complete LMS requirements.
