Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support orthodontic care in a patient‑first practice. You will bond braces, take impressions, and assist with Invisalign and related treatments during scheduled Saturdays.

The role requires an active Dental Assistant certification, X‑ray and CPR/BLS credentials, and at least one year of orthodontic experience. Travel or expanded duties certifications are a plus for this position.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification valid in the applying state.
• Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• X-Ray Certification required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Must have or obtain a Real ID driver's license before start date.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthodontic procedures, including bonding, tie bands, and braces.
• Take impressions and operate iTero scanning systems.
• Assist with Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles treatments.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide chairside support.
• Operate dental software and clinical equipment.
• Set up, break down, and maintain treatment areas, including sterilization and biohazard disposal.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and required clinical reporting.

Schedule

1 - 2 Saturdays a Month: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
