Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant for our practice. You will perform orthodontic procedures, manage impressions, support Invisalign and other treatments, and ensure clean, safe treatment areas.

Our team emphasizes patient-first care, professionalism, and a collaborative culture. This role follows a 2 Fridays a month schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with opportunities for growth and ongoing certification support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• Current Dental Assistant certification valid in the applying state.
• X-Ray Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Willing to obtain a Real ID Driver's License prior to start date.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthodontic procedures, including bonding, tie bands, and braces.
• Take impressions and operate iTero scanning systems.
• Assist with Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles treatments.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide chairside support.
• Operate dental software and clinical equipment.
• Set up, break down, and maintain treatment areas, including sterilization and biohazard disposal.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and required clinical reporting.
