Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our orthodontic team. This role supports orthodontic procedures, takes impressions, operates iTero systems, and assists with Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles protocols.

You will prepare patients, maintain sterile treatment areas, manage dental software, and ensure infection control and safety compliance. Candidates must have an active Dental Assistant certification, X-Ray and CPR/BLS credentials, and be willing to obtain a Real ID driver

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification in the applicable state.
• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• X-Ray Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a Real ID Driver's License before start date.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.

• Take impressions and operate iTero scanning systems.
• Assist with Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles treatments.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide chairside support.
• Operate dental software and clinical equipment.
• Set up, break down, and maintain treatment areas, including sterilization and biohazard disposal.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and required clinical reporting.

Schedule:

1 - 2 Fridays a Month: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
