Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support a state-of-the-art dental practice near Fort Benning, GA. This role emphasizes patient-first care, collaboration, and professionalism within a growing orthodontic team.

You will perform chairside orthodontic procedures, assist with Invisalign, take impressions, manage imaging with iTero, and ensure strict infection control and accurate clinical documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification (in the state you are applying to).
• Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• X-Ray Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Driver's License prior to start date.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform orthodontic procedures, including bonding, tie bands, and braces.
• Take impressions and operate iTero scanning systems.
• Assist with Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles treatments.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide chairside support.
• Operate dental software and clinical equipment.
• Set up, break down, and maintain treatment areas, including sterilization and biohazard disposal.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and required clinical reporting.

2 Fridays a Month: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
