Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our orthodontic team. The role involves performing bonding and braces procedures, taking impressions, and supporting Invisalign and other treatments. You will ensure patient preparation and assist with equipment operation in a patient-first setting.

The position emphasizes infection control, safety protocols, and meticulous documentation, with opportunities for growth and collaboration within a modern dental practice.

Qualifications

  • Current Dental Assistant certification is required.
  • X-Ray Certification is required.
  • CPR/BLS Certification is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic experience is required.
  • Must possess or obtain a Real ID drivers license before start date.
  • Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform orthodontic procedures, including bonding, tie bands, and braces.
  • Take impressions and operate iTero scanning systems.
  • Assist with Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles treatments.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide chairside support.
  • Operate dental software and clinical equipment.
  • Set up, break down, and maintain treatment areas, including sterilization and biohazard disposal.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and required clinical reporting.

Schedule

1 - 2 Fridays a Month: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

Requirements
