Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our practice in Texas. The role focuses on supporting orthodontic procedures, impressions, and Invisalign/6-month Smiles while ensuring patient comfort and high-quality care.

You will work with a team that prioritizes infection control, accurate documentation, and excellent patient communication. A valid license, certifications, and reliable transport are required for this part-time position.

Qualifications

• Two years of orthodontic experience is required.
• Excellent communication with patients and team.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply orthodontic techniques including tie bands, bonding, and standard braces.
• Perform impressions using Itero scanning technology.
• Assist with Invisalign and 6-month Smiles procedures.
• Build rapport with patients and prepare them for dental work.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication.
• Operate dental software and equipment proficiently.
• Set up and break down procedures, including proper disposal of biohazards.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to all infection control procedures.
• Complete daily and monthly clerical reporting.

Schedule

• 3 Monday's per month: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Apply orthodontic techniques including tie bands, bonding, and standard braces

Requirements

• Current Dental Assistant License / DANB certification
• Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic experience

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
