Job summary

Salt Dental Partners in Spokane Valley is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (Orthodontics) to join the clinical team and support the orthodontist in delivering high-quality patient care. The role focuses on patient experience, radiographs, impressions, sterilization, and accurate documentation.

You will collaborate with doctors and staff to implement treatment plans, adjust orthodontic gear, and ensure smooth patient flow across appointments.

Qualifications

• RDA with valid registration is required.
• 6+ months experience as an orthodontic assistant requested.
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment.
• Assist the orthodontist in assessing patients and implementing treatment plans.
• Perform routine orthodontic duties, including adjusting orthodontic gear.
