Qualifications

• Active RDA registration is required.
• 6+ months of orthodontic assistant experience preferred.
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment.
• Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic and pediatric dentistry procedures.
• Assist the orthodontist and pediatric dentist in assessing patients and implementing treatment plans.
• Perform routine orthodontic duties, including adjusting orthodontic gear.
