The role involves taking radiographs, impressions, intraoral photos, charting treatment, and using dental software for records and scheduling. Collaboration with doctors and staff will be essential to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Strong problem solving and quick learning abilities.
• Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
• Familiar with charting, records and scheduling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organized with strong dentistry knowledge and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment.
• Document dental care services by charting patient records.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, patient centered working environment.
