The role emphasizes collaboration with the orthodontist, maintaining patient flow, and providing comprehensive support to grow your orthodontic skills within a patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Must have active RD A license (RD A) and CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic experience.
• Strong communication with patients and families.
• Willing to travel within assigned areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a smile.
• Assist Orthodontist with procedures.
• Unkitting and tying arch-wires (tying arch-wires).
• Bending and placing arch-wires.
• Fitting bands.
• Preparing for and assisting with bonding.
• Taking impressions.
• Communicating with patients and families.
• Taking x-rays and developing x-rays.
• Taking intraoral and extraoral photographs.
• Utilizing the computer imaging system.
• Sterilizing instruments.
• Pouring up models.
• Inventorying supplies.
