Southern Orthodontic Partners is hiring a full-time Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant in Sugar Land to support chairside procedures and patient care. You will assist doctors, educate patients, and maintain records in a fast-paced orthodontic practice.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of dental/orthodontic assistant experience preferred.
• RDA or CDA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures.
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets and bands as directed.
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and progress photos.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed.

We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed)

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare

What We’re Looking For
