Ideal Dental is hiring an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support clinicians and patients through the orthodontic treatment journey. You will help create a welcoming environment, assist with procedures, and ensure precise, efficient care.

We value active licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of orthodontic experience. Responsibilities include charting, imaging, impressions, and maintaining supplies while traveling within assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of specific orthodontic experience.
• Willing to travel within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a smile.
• Assisting Orthodontist with procedures.
• Untying and tying arch-wires.
• Bending and placing arch-wires.
• Fitting bands.
• Preparing for and assisting with bonding.
• Taking impressions.
• Communicating with patients and families.
• Taking x-rays and developing x-rays.
• Taking intraoral and extraoral photographs.
• Utilizing the computer imaging system.
• Sterilizing instruments.
• Inventorying supplies.
