Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support patients and the orthodontic team during treatment. You’ll help with procedures, maintain records, and ensure a smooth patient experience.

Requirements: active Registered Dental Assistant license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year orthodontic experience. Willingness to travel within assigned areas. Benefits include monthly bonus potential, medical insurance, discounted dental, holidays, PTO, and 401K.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a smile.
• Assisting Orthodontist with procedures.
• Untying and tying arch-wires.
• Bending and placing arch-wires.
• Fitting bands.
• Preparing for and assisting with bonding.
• Taking impressions.
• Communicating with patients and families.
• Taking x-rays and developing x-rays.
• Taking intraoral and extraoral photographs.
• Utilizing the computer imaging system.
• Sterilizing instruments.
• Pouring up models.
• Inventorying supplies.
