Job summary

Myorthodontist is seeking a dedicated dental assistant to join a patient-centered team in Raleigh, NC. You’ll support patients before, during, and after appointments, take radiographs and intraoral photos, and help maintain a sterile, efficient operatory. Clear communication and confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as a dental assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Quick learner with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment
• Document dental care services by charting patient records
• Maintain a clean, sterile, patient centered working environment
