Desort, a Midwest City, OK dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. You will perform chairside assistance, patient preparation, radiography, infection control, and treatment documentation for a range of dental procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Completion of a Dental Assisting program or at least 1 year of experience.
• Current CPR and X-ray certification for chairside duties.
• Knowledge of infection control, HIPAA, and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during a variety of orthodontic procedures.
• Prepare and set up treatment rooms and equipment.
• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment and assist with braces components.
• Take dental impressions, digital scans, radiographs, and records.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Coordinate and track orthodontic lab cases and appliances.
• Support efficient patient flow and clinical operations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
