Responsibilities

• Assist the Doctor with orthodontic treatments according to state regulations.
• Take complete records including digital scans, x-rays, and photos.
• Educate patients on oral healthcare related to braces, aligners, and appliances.
• Chart and document all notes during exams and treatments following company guidelines.
• Review patient charts, medical histories, treatment plans, and consent forms before procedures, noting any concerns.
• Perform chair-side duties efficiently with attention to detail.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up trays.
• Communicate with parents/patients post-visit to address concerns and questions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Participate in meetings, continuing education, and daily huddles.
• Take impressions, pour and fabricate retainers, stints, and study models.
• Stock supplies, clean, and set up/break down patient chairs daily.
• Comply with OSHA laws, infection control, safety standards.
• Perform additional duties to meet company standards and goals.
