Overall Responsibility:

Responsible for assisting the dentist in rendering patient care, maintaining inventory control in the operatory rooms where treatment is rendered by the dentist, helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, and preparing materials.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the dentist in rendering patient care
  • Reinforces preventive maintenance instructions to patients
  • Seats and prepares the patients for treatment
  • Tending to the patient during dental procedures, while keeping the patient calm and comfortable.
  • Cleans operatory after treatment procedures along with disinfecting all areas involved in patient care
  • Readies tray set-ups for procedures & sterilizes instruments
  • Takes preliminary impression for needed procedures
  • Monitors all lab cases and ensures they are ready for the patient’s appointment
  • Maintain the office dental supply inventory control system, the lab tracking system
  • Follows OSHA & Company Safety Policies & Procedures
  • Retrieving 5 Star Google Reviews
  • Other duties as assigned
