Job summary

Dental Associates of Connecticut - New Milford is seeking a highly motivated full-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented team in New Milford, CT. You will greet and seat patients, assist the doctor with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, and keep operatory clean and stocked.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, stellar customer service, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Reliable commute to Newtown, CT and New Milford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by the day’s charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates/pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Greet and seat patients

Salary Description

$22-$26/ hour
