Job summary

Elk Grove Dental Management Company is expanding its pediatric orthodontic team in Elk Grove and Folsom. We are seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Assistant with OA permit to join our new practice.

This role starts part-time (3 days/week) with potential to grow into full-time as the practice grows. Ideal candidates enjoy working with children and families, are organized, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a positive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic dental assisting experience is a plus but willing to train the right person.
• Ability to work with children and families in a pediatric setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during procedures and exams.
• Explain treatment plans and aftercare to families.
• Maintain sterilization and charting; ensure clinic flow on non-ortho days.
