Job summary

Resler Orthodontics in Michigan seeks an Orthodontic Clinician II to deliver positive clinical experiences while adhering to policies and state laws under supervision of an Orthodontist. You will assist in placing/removing appliances, take records, and manage patient flow.

The role includes administering remote monitoring, educating patients, maintaining infection control, and supporting community events. A minimum of one year orthodontic experience is preferred and relevant certifications may

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year orthodontic experience or six months experience as Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician or Dental Assistant certification if state Board requires.
• Radiography certification if required by state Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Assist in final checks on patients and manage patient flow.
• Administer the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans and triage notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory following infection-control policies.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
