Job summary

Smile Doctors is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our growing Goose Creek team. You will assist with orthodontic appliances under close supervision, review charts, and help manage remote monitoring, triage messages, and patient education.

Responsibilities include maintaining clinical cleanliness and adhering to infection-control policies while delivering a positive patient experience under OSHA and state rules. A supportive, people-first culture awaits with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental experience preferred.
• Certification as a dental assistant may be required by state board.
• CPR and radiography credentials may be required by state board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and operatory per protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
