Job summary

Maginnis Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our growing team in Bluffton, SC. This role involves assisting with orthodontic appliances under close supervision, chart review, and performing lab procedures while ensuring infection control.

The position includes reviewing remote monitoring data, triaging patient messages, and educating patients on care and remote monitoring. Travel to Beaufort Bluffton and Hilton Head offices is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental Assistant certification preferred or required by state Board.
• Radiography certification may be required by state Board.
• CPR certification may be required by state Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
