Job summary

Webb and Goldsmith Orthodontics in Charlotte, NC seeks an Orthodontic Clinician to join our team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience while following policy and state dental laws under supervision of an Orthodontist.

Responsibilities include placing/removing appliances, patient flow management, records, labs, and remote monitoring triage. We value rapport with patients and teamwork, with benefits including insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician I.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Perform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Assist with patient flow and final checks on patients.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard including review of patient scans and triage of notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events.
