Job summary

Smile Doctors in Mooresville, NC is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to provide a positive clinical experience under the supervision of an Orthodontist. You will assist in placing/removing appliances, taking full records, and helping maintain patient flow.

Responsibilities include chart review, data transcription, lab work under supervision, education of patients on care and remote monitoring, plus sterilization of equipment. Community engagement and marketing support are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctors Orthodontic Clinician I.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing/removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with accurate charting.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Assist with patient checks and triage as part of remote monitoring process.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
