Job summary

Webb and Goldsmith Orthodontics in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician to deliver exceptional patient care under the supervision of an orthodontist. You will assist with placing/removing appliances, taking records, and managing patient flow while maintaining accuracy in patient charts and notes.

Responsibilities include remote monitoring, triaging patient scans/messages, infection control, and community outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of orthodontic experience or six months as a Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Administer the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans and triage notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
