Qualifications

• Minimum one year of orthodontic experience or six months as a Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician I.
• Dental Assistant certification and CPR certification required by state.

Job description

Our ideal candidate has one or more years of ortho practicing experience, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under the supervision of the Orthodontist.
2. Perform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow.
3. Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data, and transcribe doctor notes.
4. Perform laboratory procedures under the supervision of an Orthodontist.
5. Assist the Point with performing final checks on patients and leading patient flow.
6. Administer the remote monitoring dashboard, including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notifications.
7. Educate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
8. Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
9. Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events.
10. Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Minimum one (1) year of previous Orthodontic experience or six (6) months experience as a Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician I.
3. Dental Assistant certification if required by the state Dental Board.
4. Radiography certification if required by the state Dental Board.
5. CPR certification if required by the state Dental Board.

Compensation:

$19.80 - $23.10 hourly
