Job summary

Westrock Orthodontics in Missouri is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our clinical team at our Lee's Summit and Raymore locations. Working under the direct supervision of licensed Orthodontists, you will play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional clinical care and maintaining efficient daily workflows.

You’ll assist during examinations and treatments, place and remove wires and appliances, educate patients on care and hygiene, and help fabricate custom appliances while keeping

• Prior experience in dental or orthodontic assisting is required.
• Deep familiarity with orthodontic terminology, procedures, and clinical appliances.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assisting: partner with the Orthodontist during examinations and treatments, placing and removing wires, coils, bands, and retainers.
• Patient care & education: guide patients through their treatment plans and educate on hygiene and appliance care.
• Clinic operations: prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, assist in fabricating customized appliances/retainers, and maintain notes.
