Rock Dental Brands’ Westrock Orthodontics in Bryant, AR is seeking a caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. If you have dental or orthodontic assisting experience, we’d love to meet you and help patients smile brighter.

You’ll support orthodontists during exams, prep operatories, assist with wires and appliances, educate patients, and ensure procedures run smoothly across Bryant and Little Rock Chenal clinics.

Qualifications

• Must have dental or orthodontic assisting experience.
• Familiar with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patient comfort.
• Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and support workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Place/remove wires and appliances under direct supervision.
• Conduct digital scans and assist in fabricating retainers and appliances.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and appliance care to ensure understanding.
• Record treatment notes and collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding care.
• Support Bryant, AR and Little Rock Chenal clinics.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patients are comfortable and procedures run smoothly.
• Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and support clinical workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Perform orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers under direct supervision.
• Conduct digital scans and assist in fabricating customized appliances and retainers.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care to ensure they are fully informed and confident.
• Record treatment notes accurately and collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding care throughout the patient’s journey.
• This role supports our Bryant, AR and Little Rock Chenal clinics.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in dental or orthodontic assisting.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology.
