Westrock Orthodontics in Fayetteville and Springdale, AR is seeking a caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. You will support orthodontists with chairside care, digital scanning, and patient education to help create confident smiles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patient comfort.
• Place and remove archwires, coil springs, bands, retainers, and attachments.
• Perform 3D digital scans and help fabricate appliances.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and appliance care.
• Prepare treatment suites and sterilize equipment.
• Maintain thorough treatment notes for continuity of care.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Working under the direct supervision of our licensed Orthodontists, you will deliver hands-on clinical care and create an uplifting experience for every patient:

• Chairside Collaboration: Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, keeping procedures running smoothly while making sure patients feel safe, relaxed, and valued.

• Expanded Clinical Care: Confidently perform key procedures such as placing and removing archwires, coil springs, bands, retainers, and attachments.

• Digital & Modern Tech: Perform precision 3D digital scans and assist in fabricating custom appliances and retainers.

• Patient Education & Connection: Guide patients through their treatment plans, proper oral hygiene, and appliance care so they leave every appointment feeling confident and empowered.

• Operatory & Workflow Prep: Prepare treatment suites, sterilize equipment, and support efficient clinical workflows to keep the day seamless.

• Accurate Documentation: Keep thorough, precise treatment notes to ensure excellence and continuity in patient care.
