Job summary

Westrock Orthodontics, part of the Rock Dental Brands family, is seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will support orthodontists during exams, prepare operatories, and help fabricate appliances while maintaining meticulous notes and patient education.

This role supports our Bartlett and Cordova clinics two days per week, offering opportunities for growth in a collaborative, team-first culture within a growing dental network.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Orthodontic Assistant license.
• Familiar with orthodontic appliances, tools, and terminology.
• Positive, patient-first attitude with strong communication.
• Desire to learn, grow, and be part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during exams and treatments.
• Prepare and maintain operatories and equipment.
• Place and remove wires, bands, and retainers.
• Take digital scans and help fabricate appliances.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and care.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and collaborate with teammates.
• Support Bartlett and Cordova clinics two days per week.

We’re looking for a skilled, caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our fun, patient-focused practice. What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Orthodontist during exams and treatments to ensure each patient receives top-notch care.
• Prepare and maintain operatories and equipment — keeping things organized, clean, and ready to go.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, bands, and retainers.
• Take digital scans and help fabricate custom appliances and retainers.
• Educate and support patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
• Keep accurate treatment notes and collaborate with your teammates to deliver amazing results.
• This role helps support our Bartlett and Cordova clinics 2 days a week at each clinic.

What We’re Looking For
