Job summary

Westrock Orthodontics is looking for a talented Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. If you're a motivated team player with dental or orthodontic assisting background, we’d love to meet you!

As an Orthodontic Assistant you will support the clinician during exams and treatments, prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and help with digital scans and fabricating appliances. You’ll educate patients and record notes to ensure outstanding care throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental or orthodontic assisting.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patients are comfortable and procedures run smoothly.
• Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and support clinical workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Perform orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers under direct supervision.
• Conduct digital scans and assist in fabricating customized appliances and retainers.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care to ensure they are fully informed and confident.
• Record treatment notes accurately and collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding care throughout the patient's journey.
