Job summary

Burr Orthodontics is seeking a dynamic Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team in the United States. You will work directly with our orthodontist, delivering hands-on care, assisting with digital scans, and helping fabricate customized appliances.

A high-energy, detail-oriented attitude and passion for patient comfort are essential. Experience in dental or orthodontic assisting is preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient education.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental or orthodontic assisting preferred.
• Familiarity with orthodontic terminology, tools, and procedures.
• High energy, attention to detail, team spirit and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on clinical care: place and remove wires, coils, bands and retainers under supervision.
• Tech-forward workflow: assist with digital scans and appliance fabrication.
• Operatory operations: prep bays, sterilize instruments and keep workflows smooth.
• Patient education: advise on oral hygiene, appliance care and treatment steps.
• Documentation: maintain precise treatment notes and collaborate with the clinic.
