Job summary

Drobocky Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to support doctors and patients in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The role emphasizes establish rapport, educate patients on care, and assist chairside with appliances.

Ideal candidates are energetic, professional, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Experience/certification is a plus but not required. Benefits include health care, holidays, vacation, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment appliances and equipment used
• Ability to educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices
• Ability to take X-Rays, pictures, and fabricate retainers
• Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe doctor notes accurately

Responsibilities

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients and provide high level patient service
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices
• Chairside assisting with placing/removing orthodontic appliances
• Take X-Rays, pictures, and fabricate retainers
• Keep patient charts and transcription accurate
• Keep treatment rooms stocked, organized, clean and sterilized
• Be receptive to coaching from doctors to improve skillset
• Other duties as required
