Job summary

Village Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support the doctor team and deliver friendly, professional care to patients. This role includes chairside assistance, patient education, and accurate charting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 years relative experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients and provide the highest level of patient service.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices.
• Chairside assistance with placing and removing orthodontic appliances.
• Take X-Rays, pictures, fabricate retainers.
• Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe doctor notes accurately.
• Keep patient rooms stocked and organized, clean, and sterilized.
• Be receptive to coaching and training from doctors to develop skills.
• Other duties as required.
