Job summary

Children's Dental FunZone is looking for an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with ortho experience to join our pediatric dental practice in Indiana. This part-time position offers a competitive $25.00-$28.00/hr wage and bonus opportunities.

You will support orthodontic procedures, maintain a sterile environment, manage patient records, and collaborate with the dental team to promote preventive care for children.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• OA/RDA license by Dental Board.
• Upbeat personality is a must.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications and instruments used during dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor).
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly operatory and laboratory.
• Work with staff dentists/dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community
