Job summary

Children S Dental Funzone is seeking an amazing Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with Ortho experience for a part-time position in our pediatric dental practice. You will work Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and two Saturdays per month, earning $25.00-$30.00 per hour in a unique, kid-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• OA/RDA license by Dental Board.
• Upbeat personality is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize instruments, set up trays, and maintain operatory efficiency.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor).
• Pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting and document exam findings in patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Collaborate with Staff Dentists to develop community preventive dental activities.

Job Duties

• Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.)
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Work in conjunction with Staff Dentists/Dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community
