Job summary

Palm Valley Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics - Scottsdale is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who can help create a positive first impression and daily patient experience in a busy private practice.

Must have or be close to completing RDA license; orthodontic experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. You will assist the doctor, take records, photos, xrays, and help maintain a clean, efficient clinic.

• Outgoing, friendly personality, great with people, attention to detail.
• Must have RDA license or be about to complete RDA license requirements.
• Ortho experience is great but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the doctor with the patient.
• Changing arch wires, tying and untying wires.
• Bonding attachments for clear aligners.
• Greeting patients and seating them in the clinic.
• Taking records, photos, scans and xrays.
• Writing accurate chart notes about appointments.
• Helping with sterilization and keeping the clinic clean.
• Teaching patients how to care for their teeth and orthodontic appliances.
