Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with ortho experience to join our pediatric dental practice. Part-time position with hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and two Saturdays per month; pay range $25.00-$30.00 per hour plus bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and set up of trays.
• Maintain and test dental equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor).
• Pour models and conduct lab procedures.
• Document exam findings in patient records.
• Maintain clean, stocked operatory and lab.
• Collaborate with dentists and team on preventive activities for the community.

Job Duties

• Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.)
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Work in conjunction with Staff Dentists/Dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community

• OA/RDA License by Dental Board
